Expat who killed fellow countryman arrested

Police have arrested an Arab expatriate who killed a fellow countryman in an eastern Amman area following a brief manhunt.

In a statement on Sunday, the Public Security Department (PSD) said it had received a report of a homicide in an eastern Amman area, where officers rushed to the scene and managed to identify the suspect’s hideout.

The perpetrator was nabbed shortly thereafter and confessed to stabbing the victim to death over personal disputes, the PSD indicated, adding that investigations were still underway.
