Fair autumn-like weather prevails over weekend

Temperatures are expected to hover around their annual average today, so moderate autumn-like conditions will prevail in the mountains and plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Thursday.
Friday and Saturday are predicted to bring in similar weather conditions, with low-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 30 degrees Celsius in Amman, 27 in the northern cities and 28 the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 18, 15 and 13 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees and lows standing at 25.
