One-week curfew goes into effect in Zarqa’s Batrawi district

A one-week comprehensive curfew has been instituted around the Batrawi district of Zarqa governorate starting of today, 6:00 am, Governor Firas Al-Faouri announced.

Al-Faouri told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that citizens will not be allowed to leave their homes at the isolated neighborhoods, in an attempt to stem the community transmission of the virus.

“Citizens will be allowed to go shopping on Saturday, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, on foot” he added.
