Jordan welcomes efforts to ceasefire in Libya

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates underlined the importance of regional and international efforts exerted to cease fire in Libya and reach a political solution to the crisis in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions in a way that preserves its unity and security, and fulfills the aspirations of its people.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry’s spokesperson, Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, welcomed the positive results achieved through the Libyan dialogue sessions held in the Moroccan city of Bouznika, and the meeting hosted by Egypt, in addition to the outcomes of the Berlin conference organized by Germany and the United Nations.
Al-Fayez also stressed that the Kingdom appreciates all efforts aimed at ending the crisis through promoting dialogue between the Libyan parties of conflict, and praised the international partners’ endeavors to reach a political solution to the crisis.
