Gaza confirms 87 new coronavirus infections

 The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said on Sunday that 87 new COVID-19 cases were registered over the last 24 hours.

The total number of coronavirus infections in the coastal enclave since last March has reached 3,984, including 1,610 active cases and 24 fatalities, the ministry added in its daily brief on COVID-19 in the strip.

“A total of 47 new patients have recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 2,350” it said.
