The United States has recorded 94,125 new Covid-19 infections over the last 24 hours, the highest tally since the onset of the pandemic, according to data issued the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Coronavirus Resource Center, a body approved by the US government to track the disease’s infections and deaths nationwide

The U.S. has also recorded 919 new virus-related deaths, according to the joint statistics released by the US Department of Health and the JHU center
