New COVID-19 hospital project launched in Ma’an

A 250-bed field hospital is being set up in Ma’an to receive coronavirus patients, according to Director of the Health Affairs Directorate in the southern governorate Amjad Abu Darwish.

He told Petra in an interview Saturday that the project is under way at a site near the Ma’an Governmental Hospital, adding that the hospital, including a 50-bed intensive care unit, will be provided with the necessary medical equipment.
