Police nab four drug dealers in Amman

 The Anti-Narcotic Department (AND) arrested four drug dealers and seized a total of 14 blocks of hashish, 12,000 narcotic pills, and two firearms.

Spokesperson of the Public Security Department said in a statement, on Thursday, that the AND personnel gathered information on two drug traffickers, tracked them down to a vehicle in Amman. The two suspects resisted arrest and fired gun shots at police officers, who overpowered them and placed them under arrest. Police found 14 blocks of hashish and 2,000 narcotic pills in the vehicle, the spokesperson added.

In a separate raid in the capital, officers apprehended two drug dealers, following a tip-off that they were using a local store to promote illegal substances. Police found 10,000 narcotic pills in possession of the suspects.
