Moderate weather forecast today

 The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast that temperatures on Thursday will dip few degrees, making moderate and spring-like weather in much regions and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with clouds at various altitudes.

On Friday, mercury levels is expected to slightly rise, so fair weather will prevail in the highlands and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in other areas of the country, with clouds at medium and high altitudes and northeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said.

As we head into Saturday, a further increase in mercury is predicted, becoming 7-8 degrees above annual average and bringing hot conditions in most regions, except in the highlands and the plains where it will be relatively hot with southeasterly moderate to active winds, the JMD added.

Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 26 degrees Celsius, dropping to 15C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 32C, dipping to 21C during night hours.
