Rise in temps weather forecast today

The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast that temperatures on Monday will rise 4-5 degrees above annual average, bringing fair weather in the highlands, and relatively hot conditions in the Badia regions, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

On Tuesday, mercury levels will rise few degrees, but similar weather will continue to prevail until Wednesday, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said in its daily brief.

Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 31 degrees Celsius, dropping to 20C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 40C, dipping to 24C during night hours, the JMD added.
