 Hot weather is expected across the Kingdom on Wednesday, with mercury levels rising above their seasonal average for this time of the year.

The Jordan Meteorological Department expects that daytime temperatures in much of the country will exceed thirty degrees Celsius.

Southern Jordan Valley temperatures, including the Dead Sea and the Red Sea port of Aqaba, will remain in the 40s Celsius range.

Cooler weather is expected in the Kingdom’s central highlands and along its western mountainous strip, with temperatures ranging from 29 to 31 degrees Celsius during the day and dropping to the early and mid-20s at night.

Wind gusts of up to 50 kilometers per hour are expected to reduce horizontal visibility in the country’s east.

No significant changes are expected over the next few days, and similar weather conditions are expected to prevail throughout the Kingdom.
