Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, on Sunday, with British Foreign Minister James Cleverley, on the sidelines of the meetings held by His Majesty King Abdullah during the European tour he began in London on Sunday, to mobilize international support for efforts to stop the violence and war on Gaza, protect civilians, and bring humanitarian aid into the Strip immediately.

He stressed that war will only achieve destruction and killing, and that there is no way to achieve security and peace in the region except by fulfilling the rights of the Palestinian people to their freedom and their state on their national soil.
“His Majesty the King speaks with the voice of truth, with the voice of the Palestinians, the voice of the Arabs, and the voice of humanity, when he says that stopping this war and fulfilling the rights of the Palestinian people, to live in security and peace in their independent and sovereign state on their national territory and with occupied Jerusalem as its capital on the pre-1967 borders, to live in safety and security alongside in Israel is the only way to achieve security and stability for all,” Safadi underlined.
Responding to a question, Safadi said, “the situation in Gaza cannot be tolerated and cannot be accepted. Civilians must be protected, aid must be brought in, and the rights of the Palestinian people must be fully met,” Safadi said.

“We cannot allow migrating the crisis created, exacerbated, and continues to be exacerbated by the Israeli occupation to neighboring countries.
