CDD chief meets military attachés

Director General of the Civil Defence Department (CDD) Maj. Gen. Mostafa Al-Bazai’ah Sunday discussed cooperation prospects in civil protection and defence with military attachés of Italy, Japan and Switzerland.

At the meeting, the CDD chief underlined the importance of opening up communications with friendly states to achieve the strategic civil defence objectives, which aspire to development, modernization and keep abreast of all new technology in the field of civil protection.

The military officials were briefed on CDD strategic and development plans, as well as the nature of the tasks and duties entrusted to the agency members in firefighting and rescue domains.

They hailed the outstanding level reached by the CDD and its qualified cadres.
