Palestine: 6 virus fatalities, 543 infections

The Palestinian Health Ministry said Monday it recorded 6 coronavirus deaths and 543 infections in the last 24 hours.

Health Minister Mai Al-Kaileh said in the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine that 572 COVID-19 patients have recovered, adding that the recovery rate of total infections is at 87.7%, 11.5% among active infections and the fatality rate is at 0.8%.

She said that 39 coronavirus patients were in intensive care, including 5 on ventilators.

Kaileh said the COVID-19 caseload in Palestine since the outbreak stands at 85,539 and the death toll is 478.
