The Foreign Ministry on Saturday denounced the terrorist suicide bombing that took place outside a training center in the Dasht Barchi area, west of the Afghanistan capital of Kabul, and claimed the lives of dozens of innocent people.

“Jordan stands with the government and people of Afghanistan,” spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Daifallah Fayez said in a statement.

He added that Jordan strongly condemns the cowardly attack, claimed by the terrorist organization of ISIS and rejecting it as “a cowardly act aimed at destabilizing security and stability in Afghanistan.”

Fayez also affirmed Jordan’s rejection of all forms of extremism and terrorism that target people indiscriminately.

He expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wished for a speedy recovery for the injured and hopes for the security and stability of Afghanistan.
