Inmate dies at Swaqa Correction and Rehabilitation Centre

An inmate at the Swaqa Correction and Rehabilitation Center, who was in his sixties, died Tuesday of a heart attack at the Karak Government Hospital, according to a medical source.

Director of Medicine in the southern region Hassan Al-Hawari said the inmate died in the intensive care unit as a result of a massive heart attack.

He said that an autopsy carried out by the Southern Forensic Medicine Committee found that the cause of death was myocardial infarction, adding that the corpse carried no signs of severity or violence or external or internal injuries.
