Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise 5-6 degrees above their annual average, so it will be fair in the highlands and plains, and warm in other parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department ( JMD).

Clouds are also forecast to appear at various altitudes, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia areas, causing poor visibility at times, the JMD said.

On Tuesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a wet and a relatively cold air mass, pushing mercury down, becoming around seasonal average and bringing relatively cold weather in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be moderate in other regions with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to active winds, stirring dust in the desert, the JMD added.

Wednesday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD predicted.

Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 22C, dropping to 10C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 27C, dipping to 16C during night hours.
