PSD:Missing teen who fled from home found

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the family of a 16-year-old teenager had filed a report with the Sahab Security Center two days ago after he fled from the house and was declared missing.

Through taking all the necessary measures and forming search and inspection teams, the authorities were able to find the teen.

The spokesperson added that on Monday evening, the inspection teams were able to reach out to one of his friends, through which they were able to confirm the teen’s whereabouts.

According to the friend, the teen went to an electronic games store and stayed overnight with him. The teen proceeded to leave his friend’s house after learning that his family had filed a report with the authorities.

The authorities monitored the areas where the young teen would usually be, and finally he was located upon his attendance to the electronic games store.

The teen was escorted to the competent security center in order “to hand him over to his family according to the established rules.”

According to statements made by the teen to the police, he left the house after a family dispute and was not subjected to any significant assault during his absence.
