JMD expects pleasant weather, spotty showers Monday

 A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Monday, becoming around their annual average and bringing fair weather conditions in much of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast to appear, with a chance of light and intermittent showers in the northern and central regions, the JMD added.

On Tuesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a weak state of atmospheric instability, but similar fair weather will persist, with clouds at various altitudes and spotty showers, accompanied by thunder at times in the northern and western areas. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD noted.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 22 degrees Celsius and a low of 11C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 30C, sliding to 20C at night.
