Rain, cold conditions to continue over weekend

The Kingdom on Thursday is expected to continue being affected by unstable weather conditions with relatively cold weather and cloudy skies, the Jordan Meteorology Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

The weather department warned of poor visibility, as weather will be misty to foggy, and of slippery roads during periods of rainfall.

Similar weather will persist on Friday and Saturday, with rainfall in various parts of the country, accompanied by thunder and northeasterly moderate to brisk winds.

Today, temperatures in Amman will hit a high of 15C, dipping to 7C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 23C, sliding to 15C at night.
