Moderate weather forecast for weekend

Amman, Nov. 7 (Petra) — The weather during the weekend is forecast to be moderately pleasant with clouds at medium altitudes and easterly brisk winds stirring dust in the desert at times, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 26 degrees Celsius in Amman, 27 in the northern areas and 24 in the southern cities, dropping down at night to 13, 14 and 12 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 34 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 21 degrees at night.
